Why is business only about maximizing profits?

    1. Why do you think so?

    2. Well, that’s the impression you get when following the business-related news. CEOs are talking about that their goal is to get a return on equity of 25%. Companies move employees to subsidiary companies where they have to work longer for less. Things like that.

But I am aware that the question is a bit overgeneralized, as there are many companies whose focus is not on maximizing profits.
